Start here: which of these are you?
There are two routes, because most people who need this page do not have a VoiceGun account
and never signed up for anything.
Route 1. You were called or messaged by an AI agent
A business used VoiceGun to contact you. Your details were uploaded by that business, and
legally they control them, so the fastest removal is at both ends. Do this:
- Tell us. Email
privacy@voicegun.ai
with the subject "Data deletion request", or message WhatsApp +919711260426. Include the
phone number that was contacted, and the name of the business if you know it.
- We suppress the number immediately across our platform, so it is not
dialled or messaged again by any customer while we work through the request.
- We pass the request to the business that uploaded you, because they hold
the source record, and we confirm back to you when both sides are done.
You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain why. Asking to stop being
contacted is enough on its own, and we treat it as permanent.
Route 2. You have a VoiceGun account

app.voicegun.ai
and export anything you want to keep. Recordings and transcripts cannot be recovered
after deletion.

Email privacy@voicegun.ai from the address on the account, with the subject "Account deletion request".
- We confirm, then delete. Deletion is irreversible.
Stopping WhatsApp messages immediately
If you only want the messages to stop, you do not have to wait for a deletion request to be
processed. Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us and the number is
opted out at once. You can also block or report the sender inside WhatsApp. Opting out is
recorded and applies to future campaigns too, so it does not need repeating.
What gets deleted
- your phone number, name and any contact details held about you;
- recordings and transcripts of calls you were party to;
- WhatsApp conversation history held by us;
- any test call request you submitted through this website;
- account and profile data, where you hold an account.
What we keep, and why
Two things survive a deletion request, and both exist to protect you rather than us:
- A suppression record. We retain the minimum needed to recognise your
number, so that it is never dialled or messaged again. Deleting this outright would let a
future upload of the same list contact you all over again.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records, and
evidence of consent or opt-out where a regulator can demand it. These are kept for the
statutory period and nothing more.
How long it takes
- Suppression: immediately on receipt, usually within one business day.
- Full deletion: within 30 days of us verifying the request.
- Backups: deleted data persists in encrypted backups for up to 90 days
before those rotate out. It is not restored to live systems in that window.
Verifying it is really you
We may ask you to confirm from the phone number or email address the request concerns. This
is deliberately a low bar, but we cannot delete someone's data because a third party asked
us to.
If you are not satisfied
Contact privacy@voicegun.ai and say so, and we
will escalate it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection
authority, and nothing on this page removes that right.
